Membership Eligibility
The following person(s) are eligible for membership:
- Adults who hold title to or joint title to property situated in the White Lake watershed
- Adults who hold as tenants an annual agreement of single or joint occupancy to lands situated in the watershed; or
- Adults who reside on lands associated with White Lake
“Lands associated with White Lake” is defined as its watershed.
Membership is activated and maintained by the payment of an annual fee a minimum of forty-five (45) calendar days prior to each Annual General Meeting and shall not exceed two (2) paid memberships per civic address.
Membership Term
Membership Term is for a set period = January 1st to December 31st of any given year. If a member pays their fee in October their membership runs until December 31st. If a Member joins in July their membership runs to the end of the current membership term, which is until December 31st.
Benefits & Enquiries
The WLPOA is funded through membership fees and other selected activities.
The fee may be altered by the Membership at the recommendation of the Board of Directors at any time.
The WLPOA Membership Fee also includes full access to FOCA – Federation of Ontario Cottages’ Associations.
